A car ends up upside down in a ditch, and the driver disappears.
The Plymouth County Sheriff's Department was called to the rollover at the intersection of Jade and Highway 75 at nine o'clock Saturday night.
When law enforcement officials arrived on the scene, there was nobody inside the car.
Officials say they received a call that a person was seen walking along Highway 75 toward Merrill.
About half an hour later, according to the Iowa State Patrol, the driver was found and arrested.
Thirty-two-year-old Darwin Arriago-Smith was handcuffed on Main Street in Merrill, and charge with public intoxication and failure to maintain control.
He's also being held by immigration for being in the country illegally.
