Nebraska rallied to win their first conference game of the season.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KTIV) -
Nebraska overcome a 17-point deficit, tying the second largest comeback in school history in their 30-27 win over Wisconsin Saturday night in Lincoln.
In front of the fifth largest crowd in school history, quarterback Taylor Martinez led the Huskers on four consecutive scoring drives, including a 38-yard touchdown run to spark the comeback.
The Huskers are no strangers to big deficits. After trailing by 21 points to Ohio State last season, NU battled back for a 34-27 win over the Buckeyes.
"Everybody stayed together, kept making adjustments," Nebraska Head Coach Bo Pelini said. "It's a team game, it's the ultimate team game, ultimate team sport. Our football team did enough to win the football game, and I'm proud of them."
Nebraska plays Ohio State in Columbus on Saturday. The game is scheduled to kick at 7:00 p.m. on ABC.
