Trial delayed for couple accused of robbing northwest Iowa banks


The of trial a Wall Lake, Iowa couple accused of robbing four northwest Iowa banks was delayed. 47-year-old Jeffrey Schoon, and 40-year-old Roxena Schoon, are charged with conspiracy to commit bank robbery, possession of a firearm, and four counts of bank robbery. According to court documents, Jeffrey Schoon's stepdaughter told police her step mom, Roxena, and her father robbed banks in Odebolt, Early, Vail and Lytton earlier this year.
    Specifically, investigators say Jeffrey Schoon robbed the banks while Roxena Schoon drove the getaway car. Their federal trial was expected to start Monday-- but has been pushed back to Jan. 21st.
