CORRECTIONVILLE, Iowa (KTIV) -
Correctionville, Iowa residents have had to drive up to 20 minutes to get to the nearest grocery store, but soon, it may take only about five minutes.
The Woodbury County Board of Supervisors has officially approved $25,000 to help Correctionville build a new grocery store.
The money is intended to help cover construction expenses for the cost of building the store, which is about $325,000 dollars.
The new store is already under construction.
The community's last store burned down three years ago.
