A Sioux City worker is hospitalized following a construction accident this morning.

It happened around 11 a.m. on Grant Avenue just north of Sioux Center.

The Sioux County Sheriff's Department says 20-year-old Nathaniel Christensen of Sioux City was working with a crew to dig a trench, when the dirt collapsed on top of him.
