Sweet Fruit Salsa With Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips - prepared by Anna Plathe, Jessica Kratz and Lauren Sobaski, members of the Lucky Lassies & Labs 4-H Club
Sweet Fruit Salsa
• 2 Golden Delicious apples
• 1 mango
• ½ pound strawberries
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons apricot preserves
Wash all fruit. Core and dice apples. Slice strawberries into uniform fourths. Peel and remove pit of the mango. Dice mango. Place all fruit in a medium-sized bowl. Sprinkle with white and brown sugar. Add in preserves and mix. Refrigerate if needed.
Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips
• Flour tortillas, melted butter and cinnamon sugar mixture
Butter one side of the tortilla. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar. Cut into 8 triangles, bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until crisp.
