Clean up has begun after a train derails in northwest Iowa Monday morning.

The Plymouth County Sheriff's department got several calls around nine regarding the derailment.

It happened just south of Seney along Highway 60.  Authorities say 21 Union Pacific rail cars were involved, many of them were empty.

An investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the derailment.
