A campaign press release says Clinton's visit comes as, quote "national observers" show the 4th District race is one of the most competitive in the country.
A poll done last week, by Public Policy Polling, shows Republican incumbent Steve King with a slim 3% lead over Vilsack. But, another poll released the same day showed King' lead much wider. American Future Fund poll shows King 7% ahead of Vilsack.
