Police say Karla Gonzalez was hit in the head by a bullet fired by Martinez at 1602 Villa Avenue.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
A Sioux City man accused of murder is expected to plead not guilty to charges later this week.
Fernando Jaimes-Martinez's attorney say his client will sign a written plea of not guilty to charges of murder, willful injury, intimidation with a dangerous weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Police say 27-year-old Karla Gonzalez was hit in the head by a bullet fired by Martinez after a disturbance outside 1602 Villa Avenue.
Court papers say four people were also cut or stabbed by Martinez' brothers, before Martinez allegedly fired a nine millimeter handgun into the crowd.
