If you're using wood skewers, soak them in water overnight to help make sure they don't burn on the grill.
Choose top sirloin or beef shoulder tenders and cut into thinly sliced pieces.
Ribbon thinly sliced cuts onto skewers. If you plan on using a marinade, marinade the meat while it's on the skewer. It creates less of a mess.
Cook meat until desired tenderness.
