Sioux City will be flushing hydrants starting next week

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Sioux City Field Services Department will be flushing hydrants starting on Monday.

City officials say the purpose is to clean out the water distribution system of rust and iron build-up.

The flushing will start downtown and finish in Riverside and the Westside by October 26th.
