OMAHA, Neb. (KTIV) -
An Omaha, Nebraska man faces charges after this accident that killed two young girls early Wednesday morning.
Police say 35-year-old Christopher Phelps got into an argument with his girlfriend.
Police say the woman told Phelps to drive her and her three daughters home.
He then, police say, sped off before the woman could buckle in her children.
Police say he lost control of the SUV and it flipped after running into a ravine.
Two girls, a five and four-year-old, were thrown from the vehicle and killed.
Phelps has been arrested and charged with two counts of motor vehicle homicide.
Authorities believe he was drunk at the time of the accident.
