Dordt College is the preseason coaches selection to win the GPAC Men's Basketball Championship.
Dordt totaled 99 points and nine first place votes and is the preseason coaches' selection to win the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men's Basketball Championship for 2012-13.
The Defenders posted a 30-5 record last year and won the GPAC regular season title with a 17-3 record. Dordt advanced to the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Elite Eight.
Northwestern, champions of the post-season last winter, were picked second with 92 points and the remaining two first place votes. Briar Cliff was picked third and Midland fourth in the early season poll.
Points were awarded on a 10-1 basis and coaches' could not vote for their own team.
