Dan Molenaar scored the game winning goal less than two minutes in overtime lifting Sioux City to its first win of the season, 3-2 over Indiana Saturday night at the Tyson Events Center.
Scoreless after the first period, Sioux City broke through a goal from Conor Andrle to give the Muskies a 1-0 lead.
Still leading 1-0 heading in the third, the Ice scored less than a minute a part giving them a 2-1 lead with a little more than seven minutes to play.
Captain David Goodwin provided the equalizer at the 17:26 mark in the third.
Molenaar connected at the 1:19 mark in overtime to secure the win.
Sioux City was 0-4 on the powerplay. Joe Ballmer stopped 23 of the 25 shots he faced.
