UPDATE: Authorities describe search for man in the Missouri River

The search resumes Monday morning for a man who fell out of a boat into the Missouri River over the weekend. The man was attempting to anchor his boat near Ponca State Park Saturday morning when the anchor pulled him and a passenger overboard. The passenger climbed back into the boat, but the other man hasn't been seen since. The missing man's name has not been released.

Robert execution scheduled for Monday

South Dakota death row inmate Eric Robert is set to be executed Monday night. The 50-year-old is set to die by lethal injection at 10:00 p.m. for his role in the killing of a prison guard during a failed escape attempt at the State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls last year. Robert pleaded guilty and asked to be put to death, saying he would kill again.

Bishop's fundraising dinner boosts 16 Catholic school systems

It was a big night for the 16 catholic schools in the Sioux City Catholic Diocese. Sunday night was the annual Bishop's dinner. Seven hundred people turned out for the black-tie affair. The event raised $125,000 through ticket sales and sponsorships. KTIV's Ron Demers served as the evening's emcee. A big draw to the dinner was the keynote speaker, Sioux City's own Jerry Mathers, star of the sitcom 'Leave it to Beaver.'

Oktoberfest evening helps raise funds for children's museum

An Oktoberfest fundraising event had many people sampling a taste of the season. The event was for Sioux City's future Children's Museum. Hosts dressed up in costumes as guests sampled German beers and wines. Guests could also check out displays of the floor plans and designs for the new museum. Construction on the museum is expected to begin next spring. They hope to open the doors by the summer of 2014.
