Alton man injured in Lyon County crash

LYON COUNTY, Iowa (KTIV) -

An Alton, Iowa man is hospitalized after being thrown from his pickup in a crash.

Lyon County Sheriff officials say 19-year-old Travis Even didn't stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Ironwood Avenue and 260th street, South of George, Iowa.

He collided with a truck driven by 48-year-old Allen VanZanten of Rock Valley.

Even was taken to the hospital in Sioux Center.

There's no word on his condition.
