Police: Thieves stole at least $10,000 worth of equipment and fuel

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Authorities are searching for thieves who took thousands of dollars worth of equipment and fuel from Sioux City's Southbridge Business Park.

Police Lieutenant Mark Kirkpatrick says equipment, tools and about 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel were stolen over the weekend.

In all, the thefts total about 10-thousand dollars.

The thefts were reported by businesses, including Sabre Communications, which is building at Southbridge.

Anyone with information about this is asked to call police.
