Musketeer defenseman Dan Molenaar and Blake Heinrich will compete on the USA Junior A Select Team.

USA Hockey has released the final roster of the U.S. Men's Select Team that will compete in the 2012 World Junior A Challenge in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on November 5-11. Musketeers players Dan Molenaar and Blake Heinrich will compete with players from across the United States Hockey League.
After coming to the Musketeers last year, Dan Molenaar scored 18 points (2g, 16a) in 49 regular season games. Molenaar, an Eden Prairie, MN, native, stands at 5'11" and is 18 years old.
Blake Heinrich, a new Musketeer addition, has 2 assists to his credit in the first 5 games of the regular season. Heinrich comes to Sioux City from Cambridge, MN, and stands at 5'11".
"We're very excited to have two players going to World Junior A Challenge." Brett Larson, Musketeers Head Coach and General Manager, said. "Our team has a lot of great players that were under consideration but we're very proud of Dan and Blake."
Brett Larson was named the Head Coach of the U.S. Men's Select Team in September. After coming to Sioux City on May 21, 2011, Larson led the Musketeers to the Western Conference Playoffs. Before coming to Sioux City, Larson served as the Associate Coach for the 2011 NCAA Champion University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs. He also played professionally for 12 years in various domestic and international leagues.
The U.S. Select Team has won three of the last four World Junior A Challenge titles.
