Dordt College welcomes fourth President

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa (KTIV) -

Dordt College has officially sworn in its fourth president in the Sioux Center college's history.

An inauguration ceremony for Dr. Erik Hoekstra was held Friday morning.

Hoekstra served as Dordt College provost, chaired the Enrollment Management Team and also worked closely with the advancement office and president on Dordt's recently completed Vision 2020 Campaign.

Hoekstra's father served as a college president in Illinois and his father-in-law also served as president of the same college.
