SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
The ghosts and goblins were strutting the catwalk for the first annual Camp High Hopes Haunted Lodge Party, Saturday.
From Halloween themed appetizers to a costume fashion show, the grown-up get together got guests in the Halloween spirit.
The group hoped the night's festivities would raise $50,000.
It costs the camp a thousand-dollars to put up one person for a week, but the campers, children and adults with special needs, only pay half that.
"That money will go toward reducing our annual operating costs to keep the costs down for the families that do pay to send their children and adults to our camp. There's a lot of medical supplies, program activities, and equipment that we need to purchase each year," said Camp High Hopes Director Ali Langseth.
