SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

While vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan was campaigning at Bev's on the River, campaigners for President Barack Obama were also in Sioux City, saying every day until Nov. 6 is Election Day.

Three politicians spoke at the Democratic headquarters about how Mitt Romney doesn't relate well to most Americans, especially veterans.

One of the speakers, the mayor of Somerville, Mass., worked alongside Romney while he was governor.

Joe Curtatone is changing his vote this election because he believes President Obama is steadying the country and giving everyone an opportunity to succeed.

"We in Massachusetts saw from the failure of Mitt Romney what that approach can bring us to and it will not work for the country," said Joe Curtatone, the mayor of Somerville, Mass.

President Obama will be returning to Iowa this week. He'll be in Davenport on Wednesday.
