Spencer, IA man pleads not guilty to murder charge

The second person in a deadly beating of a Spencer man pled not guilty to murder.

21-year-old Cody Millard is being held on bond in the beating of Edward Kitto.

59-year-old Kitto was found beaten and unresponsive in the backyard of this home.

He died 12 days later at a hospital.

Another man who faces a murder charge in this case is 21-year-old Christopher Fitzpatrick.

He's pled not guilty.
