Sioux City takes steps to bring Pizza Ranch to town

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The city took several steps Monday to bring in a promised Pizza Ranch restaurant. Among the four measures passed Monday evening, the sale of the land on Floyd Boulevard to Pizza Ranch.

They also hired a company to set up the streets and utilities. City leaders say Tuesday the city planning and zoning commission will look at how new streets will be built to connect to the 29 acre lot that Pizza Ranch will be built on.

The company hopes to start construction on the new building in the spring.
