MRHD & Penn National Gaming hearing to be held in Des Moines, IA

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Penn National, which operates Sioux City's Argosy Casino, and Missouri River Historical Development, the non-profit that holds Woodbury County's gambling license, will be in a Polk County courtroom Wednesday.

In January, MRHD sued Penn claiming it had the right to talk to other operators it felt would deliver the best plan for a new, land-based casino.

Penn counter-sued accusing MRHD of breach of contract.

MRHD requested tomorrow's hearing in Des Moines be moved to Woodbury County, but that has been denied by a judge.

We'll be at tomorrow's hearing, and bring you the latest on Siouxland's News Channel.
