Vice President Biden to attend McGovern prayer service

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -

Vice President Joe Biden will attend a prayer service in Sioux Falls, South Dakota tomorrow evening for former U.S. Senator George McGovern, who died Sunday at the age of 90.

Biden and McGovern served together in the Senate.

The White House says Biden will travel to South Dakota to attend a 6:30 p.m. service on Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Sioux Falls.

Funeral services for McGovern will be held Friday afternoon at the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science in Sioux Falls.
