THURSTON COUNTY, Neb. (KTIV) -
Authorities say a man's body has been found in the Missouri River near Winnebago Nebraska.
The Thurston County Sheriff's department says the body was found around 11 yesterday morning at Big Bear Park.
Authorities are still trying to identify who it may be.
A dispatcher at the Thurston County Sheriff's department did say, however, the man is not Steven Bevelhymer who fell into the river near Ponca almost two weeks ago.
Authorities say the 55 year old man and his brother were fishing when they were pulled into the river by the boat's anchor rope near Ponca State Park.
His brother was able to get back into the boat to call for help.
A memorial service for Bevelhymer will be held tomorrow night at the Ponca School Gymnasium.
The service starts at seven.
