SIOUX FALLS, SD (KTIV) -- -

The Sioux City Musketeers stayed winless on the road this season, falling to the Sioux Falls Stampede, 4-2, on Friday night.

Sioux Falls (6-3) scored twice in the first period to jump in front, but Sioux City (2-3-3) rallied in the second period.

Jared Thomas scored on the power play midway through the period for the Musketeers to cut the lead to 2-1. Then, Dan Molenaar added another power play goal with just 1:21 left in the period and it was tied after two periods.

Sioux Falls grabbed the lead back midway through the third period when Todd Skirving scored on the rebound for the game winner. The Stampede added an empty-netter to win 4-2 and improve to 5-0 at home.

The Musketeers will be home on Saturday night to play Chicago. Sioux City will wear pink jerseys to promote breast cancer awareness.
