REMSEN, Iowa (KTIV) -
A Northwest Iowa man has died after being trapped under a skid loader.
The Plymouth County Sheriff's Department says the accident happened just after two Saturday afternoon at the intersection of 190th Street and Polk Avenue in Remsen.
First responders were able to free 19-year old Alexander Renken, but he died at the scene. Investigators say Renken was putting up fence posts while another man pushed them into the ground with the skid loader. The skid loader was filled with a bucket of dirt for extra weight, which they believe, caused it to tip over onto Renken.
