Authorities: Pickup hits home near Boyden, IA

21-year-old Brandon Doorenbos of Boyden told authorities he fell asleep while driving this Chevy Silverado Sunday afternoon.

NEAR BOYDEN, Iowa (KTIV) -

Nobody was hurt, but a pickup truck and a house are a little worse for wear after a weekend mishap near Boyden, Iowa.

21-year-old Brandon Doorenbos of Boyden told authorities he fell asleep while driving this Chevy Silverado Sunday afternoon.

Next thing he knew, the truck had hit a mailbox and the house owned by Donna Zens.

Doorenbos was ticketed for failure to maintain control.
