Dakota City, Dakota County residents advised to boil water

Posted:
DAKOTA COUNTY, Neb. (KTIV) -

Anyone who gets their water from Dakota City, and Dakota County Rural Water, should boil it before drinking it.

Bring the water to a "rolling boil" for at least one minute, and then let the water cool before using it.

They will continue to test the water and work with Nebraska Department Health and Human Services.

They will notify people when the boil water advisory has been lifted.
