SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
He may have left his "heart in San Francisco," but he'll be bringing his voice to Siouxland. Tony Bennett will perform at the Orpheum Theatre, ten years after his first benefit concert for Girls Inc.
Girls Incorporated serves to inspire young women to be strong, smart, and bold. Up to 300 girls take part in their programs.
As a 17-time Grammy award winner, organizers hope Bennett's presence will increase the visibility of the Girls Inc. program.
"We will draw from a large demographic, I firmly believe we will draw from the Omaha and Sioux Falls metro areas, which also makes them aware of some of the things we do here for the girls in Sioux City," said Scott Sehnert, President of Girls Inc.
The Tony Bennett performance is Friday, January 18th at the Sioux City Orpheum. Tickets start at $60.50.
They go on sale at 10 this Friday morning, November 2nd at the Tyson Events Center Box Office. Or you can contact ticketmaster online or by calling their toll free number at 800-745-3000.
