Local leaders cut the ribbon this morning on the $4.7 million Wesley Parkway.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
It's been open to traffic for more than a month, but Wednesday Sioux City officials are celebrating the completion of a big street project.
Local leaders cut the ribbon this morning on the 4-point-7 million dollar Wesley Parkway.
Touted as providing a more efficient connection from Interstate 29 and downtown Sioux City to Hamilton Boulevard, leaders say the Parkway can potentially cut 15 minutes off your commute because you won't get stuck behind a train at a railroad crossing.
On hand for Wednesday's celebration were city leaders, neighboring business people and the workers who built Wesley Parkway.
