Fans camp out for opening of Chick-Fil-A

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Thursday, a new Chick-Fil-A will open in Sioux City. Not soon enough for those who are camping out front.

You see, the first 100 in the door will win free Chick-Fil-A for a year. That's equivalent to 52 combo meals.

Some fans started camping at six a.m. Wednesday. To kill the time they're reading and playing board games. They say free-Fil-A is worth the wait.

"Crazy, stupid, fun, ridiculous, off-the-wall, it'll be a memory forever," said Bethel Tyger of Sioux City.

The free meals will be handed out between six and 6:15 Thursday morning. The new restaurant is located next to the Southern Hills Mall, at 4428 Sergeant Road.
