Muskies drop fifth straight

David Goodwin opened the scoring for Sioux City, but Tri-City countered with two, third period goals to top the Musketeers 2-1 Saturday night at the Tyson Events Center.

The loss drops the Musketeers to 2-6-3 on the season.  They have the fewest wins in the USHL.

Scoreless midway through the second period, Goodwin put home his own rebound to give Sioux City a 1-0 lead at the end of 40 minutes.

In the third the Storm got a power play goal from Trevor Moore to tie the game. A little more than a minute later teammate John Hrabovsky netted the go-ahead goal.

Sioux City continues its home stand Thursday night with a game against Des Moines.  The game is schedule for 7:00 p.m. at the Tyson Events Center.
