The Briar Cliff men's basketball team improved to 2-1 with a 94-65 win over Waldorf (IA) on Monday night.

The reigning GPAC player of the year, Jake Shipley, led Briar Cliff with 18 points. Taylor Murren added 14 points, Zach Otting had 11 and Turner Fahey added 10.

Briar Cliff only led by six, 34-28, at halftime, but outscored Waldorf, 60-37 in the second half.

The Chargers will play on the road for the first time this season on Friday and Saturday at the Ashford Classic in Clinton, Iowa.
