SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
David Dawson is headed to Des Moines in January. After losing to Jeremy Taylor two years ago, he beat Republican Greg Grubb, 59 to 40 percent. Largely the same voting block, Dawson says he's been campaigning ever since to get voters on his side.
"I worked hard over the last two election cycles getting to know the voters in the westside district in Sioux City, and I think that hard work paid off. I wanted to make sure that I was out there getting to know the issues that were important to Sioux City because when I'm there as a new representative I want to be serving the people's will and doing what they think's important for Sioux City," said Rep. David Dawson, (D) IA Dist. 14.
