UPDATE: Driver killed in rollover in rural Plymouth County, IA

NEAR REMSEN, Iowa (KTIV) -

A northwest Iowa teen is dead and two more injured after a rollover in Plymouth County, Iowa.

The Remsen fire and ambulance department was dispatched to the intersection of Polk Avenue and 190th Street just after 2:30 Saturday afternoon.

When they arrived, they found 17-year old Matthew Gerrietts of Remsen thrown from the SUV he was driving.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two passengers, 16-year old Mindy Gerrietts and 15-year old Phillip Renken were transported to Floyd Valley Hospital.

Authorities determined Gerrietts lost control and that the SUV rolled several times.
