Term limits are forcing Mike Flood to leave the legislature.
NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV) -
Mike Flood is set to make what's being called a "special announcement" Monday evening in his hometown of Norfolk as he considers whether to run for governor of Nebraska in 2014.
Since June, Flood has traveled the state to visit with Nebraskans.
Term limits are forcing Flood to leave the legislature.
He plans to make his announcement at 7:00 p.m. at the Divots Conference Center in Norfolk.
Lt. Governor Rick Sheehy has expressed interest in running for governor in 2014.
Republican Governor Dave Heineman is also being forced out by term limits.
KTIV's Forrest Saunders will be in Norfolk for the announcement.
