Sioux City convenience store robbed by suspect with a knife

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Police are searching for a man who held up the East End Mini Mart in Sioux City with a knife.

Authorities say he walked into the store on 5401 Morningside Avenue about 7:30 Sunday night with a knife. He demanded money from the clerk and fled with close to $300 in cash.

The suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood up and a black bandana with skulls across his face.

He's described as a white male, 5'6", weighing 150 pounds.
