NEAR SHELDON, Iowa (KTIV) -
Authorities are investigating a pig heist in northwest Iowa.
The Sioux County Sheriff's Office says more than 150 finished pigs were stolen from a confinement three miles south of Sheldon either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
Someone forced the lock open and loaded up the pigs.
They have an estimated value of $38,000.
Authorities are asking that if you saw a livestock semi-tractor trailer near the intersection of Highway 60 and 360th Street during the time of the crime you contact the Sioux County Sheriff's Office.
