DNR stocks Bacon Creek with rainbow trout

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources dumped 1500 rainbow trout into Bacon Creek today.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

We could probably all agree that, for November, today's weather was pretty pleasant for outdoor activities, including fishing.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources dumped 1500 rainbow trout into Bacon Creek today.

Perfect fishing conditions for anglers, who took a crack at catching these 9 to 12 inch long fish.

The creek will be restocked again in February.
