NORFOLK, Neb. (US92) -
A group of Siouxland economic development entities are collaborating to help promote the positives of their hometown.
The Norfolk Nebraska Chamber of Commerce, Norfolk Visitors Bureau, and Norfolk Economic Development Council unveiled a new promotional campaign called "Norfolk Now."
The campaign features a website, television commercials, and a bi-annual magazine that they say is designed to promote the Norfolk area to current and prospective residents. Chamber officials say the initiative is focused on a regional approach, as opposed to just the city of Norfolk
"We're really going to help promote not just Norfolk but the Norfolk area, so all of our neighbors surrounding us as well, telling those stories of the Norfolk Nebraska area," said Dennis Houston, the Norfolk Chamber President.
Campaign organizers say the collaboration allows each individual entity to maximize their available budgets to a common goal of growing Northeast Nebraska.
