MOC-FV's Conaway named Iowa volleyball player of the year

MOC-Floyd Valley junior Alexis Conaway has been named the volleyball player of the year. MOC-Floyd Valley junior Alexis Conaway has been named the volleyball player of the year.

MOC-Floyd Valley junior Alexis Conaway has been named the volleyball player of the year by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.

Conaway led the Dutch to the Class 3A state championship, leading the team with over 400 kills. She is also an all-state basketball player and is the reigning 3A state champion in the high jump.

Western Christian's Brooke Wolterstorff was also on the 8-player, Elite All-State team.

The senior led the Wolfpack with over 300 kills and helped Western Christian finish second in Class 2A.
