Storm Lake, IA students create Thanksgiving feast for their community

STORM LAKE, Iowa (KTIV) -

Students in Storm Lake, Iowa came together to help out others this holiday season.

The Peer Help class at Storm Lake public prepared a Thanksgiving meal on Tuesday.

They say they've been doing this for 19 years to create an understanding of what a traditional Thanksgiving meal is.

Students not only served the senior class, but faculty, the police department, the fire department and local veterans.

They had traditional fixings and no one went away hungry.
