SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Jackson Recovery Centers will expand it's existing drug and alcohol addiction treatment services with a new $9-million Child and Adolescent Recovery Hospital, the organization plans to build.
The new 48-thousand square foot building will be built on undeveloped land on West Fourth Street, west of River Hills Recovery Center.
Hospital plans include a 12-bed child and adolescent psychiatric crisis and stabilization unit, and 72 inpatient beds for adolescents with substance abuse and psychiatric issues.
Construction should be complete in the spring of 2014.
