SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
If you weren't shopping Friday, chances are good that you were watching football.
Fans gathered around TVs at home and in bars to watch the Heroes Game, where rivals Iowa and Nebraska fight for bragging rights for the year.
Though having a down year in 2012, the Hawkeyes were looking to spoil Nebraska's shot at a Big Ten title.
For those who couldn't make the trip to Iowa City this year, Emma's Event Center offered the tailgating experience and a chance to cheer on your team on two giant projection screens.
Some were more optimistic than others about Iowa's shot at an upset.
"I think Nebraska's going to win. The way they've been playing this year, and I think that if Iowa's going to win they're going to have pull out a win good," said Dayson Tucker of Sioux City.
"Of course, our season hasn't been the best. So, I'm just hoping that we score a touchdown actually. So, it's fun," said Tracy Kenney of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Last year, the Huskers won the game in Lincoln, 20-7. And they won again this year 13-7.
