Sioux City Police are looking for a shooting suspect

The shooting happened in an alley in the 900 block of West Sixth Street.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

They say the victim is 20-year-old Bryce Beavers, of Sioux City.

The shooting happened in an alley in the 900 block of West Sixth Street, around one Sunday morning.

Police say the gunman fired as many as five shots at Beavers, hitting him in the stomach.

Beavers is hospitalized, but his condition is unknown.

The suspect is a male wearing a grey sweatshirt.

Police say they're still trying to figure out a motive.
