A camp for kids and adults with special needs receives accreditation

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Camp High Hopes, a newly constructed year-round recreational facility for people with special needs, is now accredited from the American Camp Association.

Ali Langseth, the camp's executive director, says the ACA-accrediation program educates camp leaders in the administration of key aspects of camp operation.

Especially in program quality and health and safety of campers and staff.

Registration for upcoming Spring sessions at Camp High Hopes in Sioux City opens on December 1st.
