Stanley Cox wins $100,000 in an instant-scratch game.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Iowa Lottery officials say 49-year-old Stanley Cox was running an errand for his fiancee, when he purchased a "Gemstone 10s" instant-scratch game.
He won the top prize of $100,000 and he claimed his prize on Monday.
Cox purchased the ticket at the Hy-Vee on Gordon Drive on a whim, lottery officials say.
He plans to buy a newer Harley Davidson motorcycle and buy his fiancee, Julie Tasker's, wedding band with the money.
They plan to marry in February.
