NORFOLK, NE. (KTIV/US92) -

Norfolk Police now say the suspect's wife has implicated his involvement in the shooting.

They say there are some conflicting reports on what actually happened early Saturday morning, outside Club Hollywood.

According to court documents, the bullet shattered 28 year old Jorge Zepeda-Flores' jaw.

The bullet then hit his spine damaging several vertebrae.

The accused shooter, 28-year-old Jordan Beehn of Madison, is still in Madison County Jail facing felony assault and weapons charges.

Witnesses to the incident, including the victim's brother, Jose, told police that Jordan's wife Kelly, got into a fight with a friend of theirs outside the club.

Jose says he was trying to break up the fight when he says Jordan came over and hit him in the head with a gun.

Jose says that's when Jorge stepped in and was shot by Jordan.

Police spoke to Jordan after his arrest he told police another story.

He says Jorge and his brother were kicking his wife during the fight and that he got hit in the face while trying to break it up. He did not admit to the shooting. However, his wife Kelly told police that after the shooting Jordan admitted to her that he shot somebody and didn't know what to do.

One thing that is consistent among all the witness statements is the fact that neither Jordan Beehn nor his wife knew the victim or his friends prior to Saturday's incident.

Jordan Beehn's arraignment is scheduled for December Fourth in Madison County Court.
